Greg Jackson, Carlos Condit, James McSweeney and Clay Guida excite the crowd at second ever Submission Ink event
Albuquerque, NM October 23, 2009 - Mixed Martial Arts fans in Albuquerque New Mexico were treated to an in-cage autograph session with special guests Greg Jackson, Carlos Condit, James McSweeney and Clay Guida at the Submission Ink Grappling Tournament and MMA Entertainment event which coincided with the Rock The Ink Tattoo and Entertainment Festival. All of the fans in attendance were excited to be stepping into a real-life MMA Cage to get up and personal with their favorite UFCTM Superstars as well as the lovely Boston Brawler Babe Ring Card Girls.
Following the inaugural Submission Ink Grappling Tournament in Providence Rhode Island, Submission Ink took to the road as it traveled to Albuquerque New Mexico. With Submission Ink picking up momentum and with Albuquerque being a hotbed for Submission Grappling and MMA, it was no surprise that Submission Ink Albuquerque shattered the previous number of competitors and spectators alike. The top Grappling and MMA schools in the area took part in the tournament including: Jackson's MMA, Gracie Barra New Mexico, Albuquerque BJJ, Albuquerque Kickboxing, Fit NHB and many more. Winning the $1,000 prize in the Absolute division was Roberto "Tussa" Alencar of Gracie Barra New Mexico.
