APEX Championship Fighting is proud to announce that APEX: EVOLUTION will take place on June 10th, 2006 at the Palais des Congres, in beautiful Gatineau, Quebec. This event will feature the evolution of Stephan “Rudeboy” Potvin, Wagnney Fabiano and the rest of the APEX athletes, as they continue their path to MMA Stardom.

Left with some unfinished business against his original January opponent, Middleweight Stephan Potvin will be returning to Gatineau to take on Team Quest's Matt “Suave” Horwich, who makes his much anticipated return to the capital region. Potvin is coming off a win against another Team Quest member Art "Pachuco" Santore on January 14th and is looking to continue add to his winning streak with a forth straight win.
Undefeated featherweight phenom Waggney Fabiano steps up and faces one of the most exciting featherweights in the world: Bao “Taz” Quach. Quach has traveled the world fighting for the world's top MMA promotions while facing some of the best talent in the division and is ready to give Fabiano all he can handle. Fabiano has already established himself as one of the world's top BJJ competitors in the world and is setting the table by repeating those exploits in the APEX ring.
In a light heavyweight showdown, Brent Beauparlant makes his much anticipated APEX debut, taking on one of Western Canada’s top Heavyweight fighters, Todd Gouwenberg. Gouwenberg will be coming down from his customary heavyweight division and will be making his Light Heavyweight debut vs. the rough and rugged Beauparlant. Beauparlant is one of Canada's most accomplished wrestlers and has traveled the globe training his MMA skills. Having been to Thailand and spending six months training with Chute Boxe and other teams in Brazil, Beauparlant is ready for anyone that will be brought in front of him.
Speaking of Evolution, Nabil Khatib will be returning to the APEX ring, as one of Ottawa's favorite son's takes a step up in competition, taking on the multi-talented Ryan Gabourie. Claude Patrick also returns to the APEX ring to once again excite the fans with his incredible takedowns, Jiu-jitsu skills and viscous ground and pound assault.
In a special Heavyweight kickboxing bout, one of Toronto’s most popular kickboxers will make his return to APEX. The last time Wojtek “Kazz” Kaszowski was in an APEX ring, he brought the crowd to their feet with his whirlwind striking techniques and intends on repeating that performance.
Also featured on the card are Mark Holst, Rowan Cunningham, Nuri Shakir, Nick Castiglia, Sean Ragnitz, Dan Grandmaison, Mike Hong and Shaun Krysa.
