American Championship FightingSM

Creates MMA Minor League System

- Special Thanks go out to Ken Pishna for the following information:

DENVER, COLORADO - Denver-based mixed martial arts promotion American Championship Fighting(sm)

(ACF) has signed an agreement with two Colorado area promoters to create an MMA minor league or feeder

system.

Both Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz, which runs an all-amateur MMA show in the Denver metro area, and Round

1 Promotions, which operates its all-amateur production in the Colorado Springs area, have united with the

ACF(sm). As part of the agreement, the two promotions will produce a series of shows that allow their

athletes the opportunity to fight for a 1-year contract from the ACF(sm). That 1-year contract ensures the

winners the opportunity to become professional fighters at the ACF’s show in February of 2007 and affords

them the luxury of training full-time as professional athletes.

As the sport of mixed martial arts continues to grow throughout the United States and the world, as

witnessed by the recent record-setting attendance numbers in the state of California, American

Championship Fighting(sm) is growing right along with it, creating opportunities for fighters in the sport to be

treated as the professional athletes that they are. The ACF’s alliance with Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz and

Round 1 Promotions is one more step in that direction.

“In an ever more competitive environment, the creating of this feeder system allows us a better ability to tap

into some of the best up-and-coming talent out there,” commented Rico Vecc, the Chief Executive Officer

of the ACF(sm). “At the same time, it also allows us to offer an outstanding opportunity to some very worthy

athletes who deserve to be treated as professionals, just like any other sport.”

The ACF(sm) Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz, Round 1 lottery series will be held over a five-month span from

June of this year through October. Round 1 Promotions will hold their portion of the series in the months of

June, August, and October while Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz will host the series in July and September. The

final bouts will take place at Round 1 Promotions’ October event.

Amateur fighters or managers/trainers interested in having their fighters compete in the ACF(sm) Rocky

Mountain Bad Boyz, Round 1 lottery series should contact Rocky Mountain Bad Boyz at 720-275-7972 or

Round 1 Promotions at 720-212-9443.
