XFC: "The Beast" vs. "Gun"

March 19, 2004

 Australia

Thanks to our friends in Australia, we've learned that Dan "The Beast" Severn will be taking on

Australia's very own XFC middleweight champion Tony "Gun" Bonello at XFC 4: XFC vs. KOTC which is

shaping up to be one great card.

Severn,  the UFC 5 champion, is coming off a submission win over Mathias "Maddog" Hughes this past

December 18th (2003) in Canada.

Bonello is undefeated at 6-0 and has submission victories at King of the Cage 22 and 30 and at XFC 2 (all

under a minute).

The XFC vs. KOTC card will also showcase a fight between Adam Kayoom and Kyle Noke for the interim

welterweight title. The current champion, Luke Pezutti, is injured and will fight the winner of the Kayoom /

Noke at a later date.

Two other fights already confirmed will feature XFC light heavyweight champion Sam Nest going up against

KOTC and Heat FC veteran Forrest Griffin and middleweight Danny Higgins will be going up against

Mansur Heidari.

Also expected to participate in the event will be Soa Palelei, Jason Wild, Adrian Pang, Liam

Resnekov, Kym Robinson, Api Hemera, and Daniel Lima
