A man on a mission - Dan "The Beast" Severn, who's been extremely busy of late having just participated in King of the Cage (KOTC) Miami this past January 24th and scheduled to fight at KOTC on February 20th, has about a month to rest and prepare to travel to the land down under to participate in Australia's premier MMA event, Xtreme Fighting Championship. His opponent will be KOTC and XFC middleweight champion Tony "Gun" Bonello. Bonello fought at KOTC 30 last November (2003) where he defeated Mansure Hedari by triangle choke in less than a minute. Also on the card, KOTC number one ranked middleweight Joey Villasenor will take on Australia's Danny Higgins (who the XFC says is "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin's body guard). Josh Smith, out of Chris Brennen's Next Generation school is on tap to take on the undefeated Jason "Wildchild" Wild. And newly crowned lightweight champion Ian Schaffa is also scheduled to participate against a yet to be determined opponent.
