Chris Brennan will be holding his Westside Submission tournament this Saturday at his Next Generation School in Murrieta, CA. Weigh-ins will be held between 5-9pm on Friday, August 29 and between  8:30am-10am on the day of the event.  The tournament begins at 11am.

It will cost $40 to compete and $5 for spectators.

Winners will receive trophies and second place will receive medals.

Divisions are as follows: (Kids and women will be matched as close as possible in weight)

- 2 years of experience and under

- 2 years of experience and over

- 30 years old and over - Masters

- Kids 6 and over - matched up by weight and experience

- Women 

This will be a round robin tournament. That means that every competitor will fight everyone in their division regardless of the outcome of the fights. This means that a competitor could have as many as five fights. Winners will be determined by points at the end of round robin. Points will be tabulated as follows:

Win by submission = 3 points

Win by points = 2 points

Draw = 1 point each competitor

lose = 0 points

Weight-classes are as follows:

 100 lbs - 115 lbs

 116 lbs - 130 lbs

 131 lbs - 145 lbs

 146 lbs - 160 lbs

 161 lbs - 175 lbs

 176 lbs - 190 lbs

 191 lbs - 205 lbs

  206 lbs - up
