Tidbits UFC/Pride
In case you haven't heard, UFC light heavyweight champ Tito Ortiz has signed on to fight interim light heavyweight champ Randy Couture at UFC 44: Undisputed. The fight is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on September 26, 2003.
Also on the card at UFC 44 will be current UFC heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia going against "The Giant" Gan McGee.

Pride announced that it surveyed 100 fans at Pride 26 in June and used that survey, along with the desires of the fighters and promoters to set the line-up for the eight-man tournament in August.
In addition, there are currently plans for seven or eight bouts at Pride Total Elimination 2003 which include heavyweight matches and a reserve match that will include a member of the Gracie family. Names mentioned for the heavyweight bouts include Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko "Cro Crop" Filipovic, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Heath Herring.
