Samuel Peter vs. Jeremy Williams

Round 1

Fighters come to the center of the ring and  tie-up, each managing to throw punches as they’re tied up.

The ref breaks it up.  Williams stays outside, using his jab.  Peter counters with a right cross and then a

good left to the face.  William comes in and Peter lands a couple of good body shots while all Peter can

manage is a big right that misses.  William uses his jab to land some punches.  Both fighters seem to be

measuring each other up.  Peter looks to land a one punch knock-out – his right cross.  William uses his

hand speed to connect and move away -- mostly utilizing his jab.  Both fighters tie up and the ref tells them

to break.  Williams again uses his jab, coming with a right, and lands both punches.  Peter is not phased by

the hits.  Peter still looks for a one punch knock-out – his right cross which he’s throwing out with power.

Peters corners Williams and lands a few good punches just before the bell rings.

In the corners

The Peter corner tells Peter to let his hands go!

Round 2

Both fighters meet in the center.  Peter comes in with a couple of jabs to the body.  William counters with

his own jabs, keeping Peter from getting too close.  Peter comes in and throws a right hook, which William

ducks under and moves back from, thinking he’s out of trouble.  Peter throws a left hook, landing the punch

right on William’s chin, knocking him out -- cold.

Result:  27 seconds in the second round, Peter wins the fight by KO.

After the fight:

The doctor looks over William who remains out a few minutes after the final blow.  Two minutes pass and

William is conscious, responding to the doctor.  It takes some time to William to recover.  When asked if he

wants to sit for a moment, William responds “Yes”.  William was taken to the Emergency Room to have a

cat-scan performed.  The doctor talks to the press, telling them everything looks good, that William is

recovering nicely, and everything should be fine.

William is interviewed before he leaves for the hospital.  He says he didn’t even see what hit him.  He didn’t

even realize it got hit – he was just out.
