Undefeated 2000 U.S. Olympian Rocky Juarez will headline Showtime's Championship Boxing, on

November 22nd, when he takes on tough veteran Hector Velazquez.

In his last bout on September 13th, Juarez knocked out David Murillo in 26 seconds of the first round.

Velazquez is no stranger to tough fights. He has a loss to Kevin Kelly by way of decision back in 1999 and

has wins over former WBC featherweight Champion Guty Espadas (split decision) in June of 2002, and

WBC bantamweight champ Raul Perez (KO) in 2000. He is on a four fight win streak.

On the undercard, Francisco "Panchito" Bojado will take on Juan Carlos Rubio in a rematch of RING

magazine's 2002 upset fight of the year (Velazquez won a 10 round unanimous decision over Bojado in

February of 2002). Rubio is on a four fight win streak (two since the victory over Bojado).

Finally, Juan Diaz will put his undefeated record on the line when he faces hard knocking Joel Perez.

Perez has decision losses to former WBC super featherweight champion Jesse James Leija (twice),

former IBF lightweight champion Paul Spadafora and is coming off a four round knock out loss to Miguel

Angel Cotto in April of this year.
