Shobox on Showtime will present the World Boxing Union (WBU) International Jr. middleweight champion

Thomas "Storm Boy" McDonagh on Thursday night, as he defends his title against Bradley "Sweet

Sugar" Pryce. Also, Featherweight Kevin "Sweet Pea" O'Hara will go up against Anyetei "The

Chameleon" Laryea.

Unbeaten Thomas McDonagh (23-0-2, 5 KO's) won the vacant WBU International Jr. middleweight title in

September of 2003 when he out pointed Eugenio Montero (12-6, 6 KO's) for the 12 round win. McDonagh

then defended his title in February of this year (2004) against Bobby Banghar (11-4-1, 2 KO's) and won by

the elusive TKO (second round). McDonagh's last bout was on April 3rd (2004) against Craig Lynch

(4-10-1, 2 KO's) and McDonagh came out victorious, in the six round bout, by decision.

Bradley Pryce (18-3, 11 KO's) won his first 16 bouts in a row, including capturing the WBO Intercontinental

lightweight title.  Pryce also has a victory over McDonagh opponent, Craig Lynch, innNovember of 2003 by

fourth round TKO. In his last five bouts though, Pryce has a record of 2-3 including the win over Lynch and a

decision loss in his last bout against Farai Musiyiwa (16-7, 10 KO's) in February of this year.

Can't say I'm too excited about watching this bout. Pryce hasn't met with success at the higher weight

classes and McDonagh isn't exactly a huge threat to knock him out. Your guess is as good as mine -

McDonagh by decision.

Undefeated Kevin O'Hara (9-0, 3 KO's) comes into his featherweight bout having won a six round decision

over Buster Dennis (4-5, 2 KO's) in his last bout (April 1, 2004). He won his first three bouts by TKO and

his last six by decision.

Anyetei Laryea (11-1, 5 KO's) was undefeated going into his last bout against Nicky Cook (23-0, 14 KO's)

in October of 2003 for Cook's British Commonwealth featherweight title. The fight went the distance but

Laryea came up short, losing his first fight of his career. He'll be looking to regain his winning ways.

Another tough one to call - If the fight goes past six, I like Laryea.
