Showtime presents Shobox: The Next Generation tonight at 11pm ET/PT. The event will be showcased by

two powerhouse match-ups...okay, okay...shall we say...two interesting title bouts. The first will feature

undefeated Stephen Foster Jr. (14-0, 9 KO's) against undefeated and (local) central area super

bantamweight champion Sean Hughes (8-0, 1 KO) for the vacant British featherweight title.

Foster Jr., who started his career in 2001, has TKO'd his last four opponents with Steve Gethin (8-10-2, 4

KO's) being the last via a third round TKO in December of 2003. This will be Foster Jr.'s first fight scheduled

for 10 rounds.

Hughes last fight was also in December of 2003 against Marty Kayes (0-14) in which Hughs won a six

round decision. This will also be Hughes first fight scheduled for 10 rounds.

The second bout of the night will feature the World Boxing Union (WBU) International Jr. middleweight

champion Thomas McDonagh (21-0-2, 4 KO's) going up against Bobby Banghar (11-3-1, 2 KO's).

McDonagh won the vacant WBU title in his last bout via a 12 round decision over Eugenio Montero

(12-6, 6 KO's) back in September of 2003.

Banghar has fought sparingly since he started his career back in ' 97. Banghar in undefeated in the new

millennium though, winning all five his bouts by decision with his last being in October of 2003 over Joel Ani

(5-13-1, 2 KO's)
