UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Tito Ortiz appeared on BDS show on Fox Sports Network on Friday. He represented himself and mix martial arts very well.  He was asked by Arie Spears of Mad TV if  he felt he could defeat Mike Tyson in a NHB match. Ortiz answered in the affirmative only to have Spears say that Tyson would kick his ass. Ortiz responded that there is more to a match other than boxing.Well, Mr. Spears was obviously thinking about a straight boxing match rather than a NHB match. Let's face it, the bell rings, Tyson comes out, they circle each other, Ortiz rushes him, takes him to the ground, submission. No disrespect to Tyson but unless he gets some major schooling in ground fighting, Ortiz does the ground and pound.

Ortiz also discussed his upcoming match with Shamrock. No, not a rematch with Frank but rather with his brother  "The Most Dangerous Man Alive" himself, Ken Shamrock. The bout is scheduled for November 22, 2002 at the UFC. This should turn out to be a great fight. Both men have strength, skills and punching power. After the War Ken Shamrock had with Don Frye at Pride, it will be interesting to see how he comes back after that tough loss. Look for another War in the center of the ring.
