Quick Takes

After a big meal,  here are some quick observations on what was arguably the biggest NHB fight this year. Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock. 

- Shamrock went in with a lack of cardiovascular training combined with  too much anger. Anger leads to mistakes and it tires people out quickly. Evident as Ortiz entered the ring and after the first round.

- Ortiz seemed to take a small dig at the UFC pay scale at the end as he alluded to fighting the number one challenger in Japan. Could he mean PRIDE?

- Did anyone else have a problem with the announcers? 

- Ortiz can only get better, WOW
