PRIDE Action Figures

Pictures taken from various auction sites. From the left - Don Frye, Nobuhiko Takada, and Kazuyuki Fujita.

Move over Todd McFarlane, Pride has come out with  its own line of action figures.

The first series so far has Don Frye, Kazuyuki Fujita, Vanderlai Silva, Antonio Anoki  and Nobuhiko Takada just to name a few.

The figures retail for about $25 US on the Pride website but the figures have been on some online auction sites and have reached $30 in bidding but as of yet, the bidding has not met the reserve which is unknown.

The quality doesn't look too bad but the Don Frye figure looks more like James Van Praagh from the TV show "Beyond with James Van Praagh".

Also available right now is probably the most sought after action figure in martial arts - the Rickson Gracie action figure.

This figure recently sold for $20 on ebay.

Plus there's always shipping to consider.

We don't know if the figures will ever hit the mainstream stores but if and when they do, we'll let you know.

It would be great if they contracted with Todd McFarlane to do a whole series of fighter action figures the way professional  Baseball, Football, Hockey, and Basketball did.

They are the Best Sports Action Figures on the market and extremely reasonable at $10.

To find out more about the action figures, you can go to the Pride website but it's only on the Japanese version of the website.

We're working to get it translated.

Happy Collecting
