Light Heavyweight Boxing Contender

Paul Briggs

& Boxing Trainer

Jack Mosley

 Interviews

July 16, 2004

We were very fortunate to have visited Jack Mosley's private boxing gym this past Friday morning in P-town,

California. We were greeted by our friend Ysreal who introduced us to a good spirited Ivan Stovall (light

heavyweight) who is coming off surgery but is looking forward to making his pro debut. We then got the

opportunity to meet and speak with light heavyweight boxing contender Paul Briggs (22-1, 17 KO's), who

holds World ranks of # 13 by the WBO, # 10 by the IBF, # 6 by the WBA, and Briggs will be fighting Stipe

Drews (26-0, 12 KO's) on August 15th in Australia for the WBC # 1 contender spot with the winner gaining a

mandatory bout with WBC light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver (22-2, 18 KO's) for the title (possibly

late in the year).

When then were fortunate to speak with trainer extraordinaire Jack Mosley. Mr. Mosley spoke with us about

his training methods and his fighters. He also spoke about his other projects which include his own line of

soft drinks (Mexi-Cola), water (Aqua de Cielo), and his own record label, Mo Swing Records with his artist

RELM, whose record, Veteran's Memorial is available at Tower records and Virgin records which includes the

smash hit O.H.I.O. (It's a damn good song - check it out!!!).
