Pride held a drawing today (10/1/03) to determine who would face who in the Final Conflict middleweight tournament to be held on November 9, 2003 in Japan.
Instead of letting the fans choose the fights, they held a drawing to choose numbers. The fighter that received the number one would get to choose his opponent.
And the lucky fighter to get the # 1 ball was Hidehiko Yoshida. And of course, he picked Vanderlei Silva to be his opponent.
That means that Chuck Liddell will face Quenton Jackson in the other semi-final.
