Also involving the UFC, David "Tank" Abbott is returning to the Octagon to kick some ass as he said to the crowd at the last UFC. And it looks like he doesn't have much of a fighter fan base including Lindland...
But you have to admit, back in the day, Abbott did attract a crowd and got the sport noticed whether it was good or bad publicity. As they say, it's better than no publicity at all. Previously, Abbott was a professional wrestler with the WCW before the WWE took it over.
Antonio Noguiera ( Pride Heavyweight champ) will be facing what will probably be his toughest opponent yet at the next Pride. Not to take anything away from all of his other opponents. His opponent will be Fedor Emilianenko who just beat Heath Herring in the last pride - and beat him very impressively. Herring was unable to get any ground control over Emilianenko and ended up being punished with blow after blow from the heavy hands of Emilianenko. Will Noguiera be able to control Emilianenko before he gets caught with those heavy punches of Emilianenko? Keep in mind that Emilianenko is also a judo expert. We'll stick with Noguiera by submission.
