Newsbits Sakuraba - XFC- Boxing
PRIDE Sportsnavi is reporting that Kazushi Sakuraba will return to action on June 20th (2004) on PRIDE's "Crtical Countdown 2004" card which will feature the second round of the heavyweight Grand Prix tournament.
XFC The XFC announced their next event will be Xtreme Fight Club II on June 5th at the Queensland Lions Soccer Club in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia). The card will feature an interim welterweight title bout between Kyle Noke and Mike Seftna (while XFC welterweight champ Luke Pezzutti recuperates from an injury) plus the XFC lightweight title will be defended when champ Ian Schaffa takes on Neil Swailes. In all, 10 bouts are scheduled for the event.
Boxing: Shane Mosley The LA Times reported on Tuesday that Joe Goossen will become "Sugar" Shane Mosley's new trainer.
Boxing: Hill vs. Mormeck The WBA is reporting that the Virgil Hill vs. Jean Marc Mormeck bout scheduled for April 17th for Mormeck's WBA Cruiserweight title may be postponed until May 22nd because of a shoulder injury suffered by Hill almost two months ago.
