Newsbits Kentucky Derby - Upcoming events
Kentucky Derby You might be asking yourself what the Kentucky Derby, taking place this Saturday, has to do with martial arts? Well, there's a horse that's entered by the name of Quintons Gold Rush. The horse, according to the morning odds, is a bit of a long shot but has a decent record. He'll go into the Derby with two wins, one second and two fourth place finishes. We can't help but root for a horse that has one of our favorite fighters (Quinton "Rampage" Jackson) name. He'll have to battle 19 other horses - and yes, he will have to battle. Many a great horse has lost because of the big fields and the bumping and banging that goes on around the turns. We'll just have to wait and see if he's a good a fighter as his namesake. So if you happen to be by a TV on Saturday, tune it to NBC at 2pm PT and see if Quintons Gold Rush can bring home the roses.
