The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors did not have to vote on the proposed motion to send a letter to the Governor,  State legislature, and other governing bodies objecting to the California State Athletic Commissions request for $500,000.00 dollars in funding to stop illegal MMA events.

The California State Athletic Commission withdrew their request.

The California State Athletic Commission is currently drafting a proposal they hope to present to the state legislature that would legalize NHB/MMA in the state.

We were told that yesterday on the Howard Stern Radio Show, that the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz challenged Stern regular KC Armstrong to a match. Kind of.

Armstrong was offered $15,000 to last 60 seconds in a match with Ortiz. While Armstrong stated that he would do it, Stern said he wouldn't allow it.

We think Armstrong would last about 20 seconds. 10 seconds to run and 10 seconds for Ortiz to get him to the ground and submit him. That is, if Ortiz didn't want to punish him.
