World Grand Prix 2004

K-1 has released some bouts for their September 25th event which will feature the opening round of the 2004

World Grand Prix tournament. According to Sportsnavi, 2003 World GP Champion Remy Bonjasky has

been given an automatic spot into the Grand Prix finals so for this event, he will be fighting in a Super Fight.

Also, Sportsnavi reported the Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic denies that he will be fighting in the K-1 Grand

Prix as he has his sights set on the PRIDE FC heavyweight championship (he was offered a fight with

Bonjasky on this card).

 

All bouts three rounds (three minutes each round) with a two round overtime if needed.
