Beast 2004 Line-up
March 14, 2004 Niigata, Japan
K-1 has released their line-up for their March 14th event titled Beast 2004. The event will be a combination of K-1 rules and MMA bouts. Headlining the event will be 'The Beast," Bob Sapp, in an MMA bout against pro-wrestler Dolgorsuren Sumiyabazar. Also, professional boxer Cliff Couser aka “Twin Tyson” or “The Black Bull” will participate in a K-1 rules bout against K-1 veteran Masaaki Miyamoto. Couser has a boxing record of 25-9-2 with 13 KO’s. His last boxing match was in July of 2003 against Malcolm Tann. In that fight, Couser was disqualified in the first round for slamming Tann to the canvas and striking him while down. Plus pro-wrestler "Dr. Death" Steve Williams (not Stoned Cold) will take on Alexy Ignashov and Mongolian pro-wrestler Haulin Boldboattle will take on K-1 veteran Ivan Salaverry in MMA bouts. And K-1 veteran Michael McDonald will take on Antonio Inoki's undefeated protégé Lyoto Michada in another MMA bout.

Fight 5 - K-1 Rules - five rounds (three minutes each round) Tsuyoshi Nakasako vs. Mavrick
Fight 6 - K-1 MMA Rules - three rounds (five minutes each round) Michael McDonald vs. Lyoto Machida
Fight 7 - K-1 MMA Rules - three rounds (five minutes each round) Alexy Ignashov vs. Steve Williams
Fight 8 - K-1 MMA Rules - three rounds (five minutes each round) Bob Sapp vs. Dolgorsuren Sumiyabazar
