K1 Surprise

Bob Sapp - The Beast as he is known, who many believe an unstoppable force and a unmovable object all

wrapped in one, competed in the K 1, March 30th at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

Sapp faced a very well known and liked opponent, Micro CroCop Filipovic. Yes, it's the same CroCop that

fought in Pride. Many wondered what could CroCop do against this massive beast of a man?

For those of you who don't know, Sapp is between 6'5" and 6'8" - not exactly sure but somewhere in there.

Sapp weighs about 350 to 400 pounds with about 10% body fat.  Yes, he is huge!

But all that didn't matter to CroCop. He was there to prove something to himself and to the rest of the world.

And that he did. CroCop studied Sapp to a tee and stayed away from those huge  haymakers that Sapp

throws. He danced around him. When he had a chance, CroCop would throw that deadly high kick of his but

with no success. Finally, CroCop shot a devastating quick kick to Sapp's right side, right underneath the

floating rib that connected and took the big man down. Sapp, in a lot of pain, stayed on the ground for the full

count. The crowd went wild as CroCop was announced the winner. Reports have it that Sapp was whisked

away after the fight to a local hospital for possible internal injuries.
