K-1 Survival 2003 Japan Grand Prix Final Sunday, September 21, 2003 Yokohama Arena, Japan
K-1 has updated their card for the September 21st event to be held in Japan.
First, Jerome Le Banner has been added to the card in a super fight with an opponent to be announced. Next, coming off a robbery...ah, loss is Kimo in a super fight. He'll take on Rene Roose. Early Christmas gift recipient Bob Sapp will take on fellow NFL'er Stefan Gamlin.
Also, Brazilian Montanha Silva, listed at 7' 3", 440 lbs. will take on Musashi in the opening fight of the tournament. Silva last weighed in at 396lbs. in his debut at K-1 on June 29, 2003 when he lost on a disqualification.

No rest for the weary - Bob Sapp will be back in action in K-1 in September at the Japan GP. This time around, his Super Fight will have MMA rules against a yet to be determined opponent.
Kind of enticing since he has stated that he would fight Mike Tyson only in a MMA match and that Puroresu Power is reporting that K-1 and Mike Tyson have come to a lawyers-level agreement and that Tyson wants to appear in the September show.
But the promoter was quoted as saying that the matches at the end of the year bring in the best money so our bet is that if the fight ever takes place, it will be at the K-1 Finals in December.
