Last night, we stopped by Showtime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in La Habra, California and we were fortunate

enough that owner Javier "Showtime" Vazquez (former KOTC lightweight champion) had a few minutes to

sit down and talk with us about what's new and good with him. Showtime talks about his recent submission

wrestling win at the North American Abu Dhabi trials over Alberto Crane that got him into the World

Championships in May of 2005. He also talks about some of the other competitors that he may face at the

world championships that are in his division like defending champion Leo Vieira, three time former champion

Royler Gracie, and Eddie Bravo. Showtime also discusses his upcoming grappling match with UFC

veteran Caol Uno at The Contenders in Japan on October 24th (2004).
