It's Showtime!!!

Former King of the Cage champion and Shooto stand-out Javier "Showtime" Vazquez held his Brazilian

Jiu-Jitsu school grand opening this past Saturday (July 31, 2004) in La Habra, California. The school was

packed with people from end to end. There was a free BBQ for all in attendance and an open mat session

where Javie himself took to rolling with a few of the students. 

You could easily see everyone in attendance was having a great time. Unfortunately for us, we also had

another commitment the same day and had to leave early and couldn't stay for the seminar but we have no

doubt Javie's school will be a huge success. Javie has always been a great guy, a true martial artist and 

a positive influence on the sport. We wish him the best of luck with his new school and all his future
