Although
we would like to see Evander Holyfield retire, his upcoming bout
with James Toney seems to have the makings of a very good bout.
Both are relatively close in age, Holyfield is 40 while Toney is 35. And both are very good boxers with power - translated - this means that both
fighters like to slug it
out when hurt so we can expect an action packed fight. Toney is the
current IBF Cruiserweight Champ and Holyfield is looking to be undisputed
Heavyweight Champion again. According
to a Showtime press release, Evander Holyfield's trainer Don Turner
said He has looked phenomenal and is in a great frame of mind.
Evander has not been as energetic as he needed to be in his last few
fights, but during his ring work so far, he has been using his imagination
to the max. I have never seen a guy like him in all my years in
boxing. 12
