This Saturday night, HBO Boxing After Dark will present a 12 round WBO Jr. welterweight title bout when

undefeated champion Miguel Cotto takes on former WBO champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley.

Cotto, who's coming off a sixth round TKO win over Randall Bailey (28-5, 27 KOs) this past December, will

be making his second title defense since winning the vacant title back in September of 2004 with a sixth

round TKO over formerly undefeated Kelson Pinto (20-1, 18 KOs).

Corley, currently ranked # 7 by the WBO,  will be looking to regain the title that he lost back in July of 2003

via a split decision to Zab Judah (33-2, 24 KOs) - who is now the current undisputed welterweight champion.

Corley then went on to lose a unanimous decision to former WBC lightweight champion Floyd Mayweather

Jr. (33-0, 22 KOs) in his following bout. He then rebounded back with a 10 round unanimous decision win

over Daryl Tyson (50-14-1, 25 KOs) in December of 2004 in his last bout.
