You've heard the story, now watch for yourself. This Saturday night, HBO will re-broadcast the Oscar De La Hoya / Shane Mosley fight.
As part of the card, HBO will also present the IBF Heavyweight Champion Chris Byrd as he defends his title against Fres Oquendo.
Byrd's two loses came at the hands of undefeated Ike Ibeabuchi (20-0, 15 KO's) and Wladimir Klitschko (41-2, 38 KO's). Byrd has wins over Vitali Klitschko (32-2, 31 KO's), Wladimir's older brother, and David Tua (42-3-1, 37 KO's).
Byrd won the vacant IBF title in December of 2002 when he fought and won a 12 round unanimous decision over Evander Holyfield.
Oquendo's only loss came at the hands of David Tua from a ninth round TKO. Oquendo has wins over Clifford Etienne (24-2-1, 17 KO's) and Obed Sullivan (39-8-2, 28 KO's).
