Frank Shamrock

Thursday night was a big night for a big name in the MMA world. It was the return of a legend - Frank

Shamrock.

Shamrock came out of retirement to participate in the World Extreme Cagefighting 6 in Lemoore, CA.

He fought Bryan Pardoe.  Now many people felt that his opponent was a "gimme" but we all know that

anything can happen in a fight.

That being said,  Pardoe wasn't as skilled and experienced as Shamrock.

Not a knock on Pardoe. That's how you learn - fighting people better than you.

And to no surprise, Shamrock was victorious in the first round via arm bar. But hey, Pardoe was able to land

a hard right that sent Shamrock back into the corner, from which Shamrock had to pull guard. And that's

when he caught Pardoe with the arm bar. 

Well,  what's next for Shamrock?  A rematch with UFC Light heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz or perhaps

Gill Castillo, who also fought and won that night, who would love to fight Shamrock?
