Fight 1 - 12 Round WBC Lightweight Bout Eliminator WBC # 1 Juan Lazcano (33-2-1, 25 KO's) wins by TKO at 2:18 of the 11th round over WBC # 2 Stevie Johnston (35-3-1, 17 KO's)
Lazcano was penalized two points for low blows (one point for each low blow) on Johnston during the bout. Johnston down in first, 10th and 11th - Lazcano down in second round.
Fight 2 - 12 Round WBA Super Lightweight Bout Eliminator WBA # 9 Miguel Angel Cotto (17-0, 14 KO’s) wins by TKO at 2:28 of the seventh round over WBA # 13 Demetrio Ceballos (26-5, 17 KO's) - Cotto now ranked # 1 by WBA
Fight 3 - 12 Round Super Welterweight Title Bout Shane Mosley (39-2, 35 KO's) wins by unanimous decision (115-113, 115-113, 115-113) over Oscar De La Hoya (36-3, 29 KO's) and becomes new champion
TFG.tv Fight card RD 1: Slow pace, both circling the ring, De La Hoya landed some punches upstairs, Mosley landed a decent body shot. Mosley also landed a hook that De La Hoya felt. - Round to DLH
RD 2: DLH dictating pace. DLH busy with jab. Some exchange between the two but nothing major. - Round to DLH
RD 3: DLH landed lead left hook at opening of round. DLH countering Mosley attacks. Mosley looks unsure of what to do. Mosley came on at end of round - Round even
RD 4: Accidental headbutt - cut on DLH - Mosley worked the body, DLH countered. - Round even
RD 5: No damage being done by either fighter - DLH seems to have vacated the jab - Good flurry by both fighters at end of round - no damage done - Round to DLH
RD 6: Right hand by Mosley landed but Mosley did not follow-up, DLH landing some good body shots, DLH circling Mosley - Round to DLH
RD 7: Yawn....DLH circling Mosley, Mosley just isn't punching enough - Small exchange but nothing significant - Round to DLH
RD 8: DLH fighting defensively - Mosley is stalking but not letting his hands go - ref warned both to watch their heads - DLH landing some shots - Round to DLH
RD 9: Mosley lands left, DLH counters, Mosley lands right then holds - DLH goes back to body, Mosley hurt DLH with right to body (it could have been from a low blow too) - Mosley gets busy - DLH on defensive lands good body shots - Round to Mosley
RD 10: DLH landed good left hook - Mosley slowing down from ninth round - DLH landing more shots than Mosley - Round to DLH
RD 11: Mosley stuns DLH with left hook - DLH counters - Round even
RD12: DLH come out to brawl - Mosley stuns him - DLH back on defense - DLH starts to counter - Round to DLH
Notes: Roy Jones Jr. spoke on his future plans on the PPV - Says he wants to go reclaim his light heavyweight belts then go back up and defend his heavyweight title. Jones Jr. also said he wants a bout with Mike Tyson.
