Cage Rage 10 This Saturday, Don't Miss It! Line-up Update
February 26, 2005 Wembley Conference Centre Stadium Way, HA9 0DW Wembley, London (England) www.cagerage.tv
Cage fighting can be the toughest sport in the world and training for it is just as tough. Unfortunately, in the past couple of weeks several fighters have picked up injuries, including Robbie Olivier with torn ligaments in his knee, Chris Brennan with a back injury, Kuljit Degun a fractured shin, Marc Goddard a fractured eye socket and Mostaha Al-Turk also has an injury. Clearly, in a sport this hard the fighters give 100% whilst training.
The Cage Rage team has been working franticly to ensure that the fightcard is to a world class standard,
producing the rematch the fans
want: Leigh “Bulldog” Remedios vs. Jean “White
Bear” Silva. by a knock out with an awesome kick to Leigh’s head sending Leigh to the canvas. This time Leigh wants revenge and will go all out to prove that he has what it takes to beat Jean.
Other late confirmations include James Zikic vs. Melvin Manhoef in a light heavyweight clash and Robert “Buzz” Berry vs. Andy Harby in a heavyweight battle.
Cage Rage is pleased to announce that whilst the rest of us were tucking into our turkey, lightweight champion Jean “White Bear” Silva was invited to join Team Chute Boxe. During the Christmas season Jean trained with the guys and said it was real hard work. Jean has now been invited to fight at the Pride fighting championships in Japan and will put in his first appearance at Pride Bushido in May and then again later in the year. Jean says he is not sure who his opponent is yet but that does not matter; he is prepared to fight anybody and his goal is to be known as the world’s number one lightweight fighter. Jean will have his first fight representing Chute Boxe at Cage Rage 10 “Deliverance” against UFC veteran Leigh Remedios.
Cage Rage is also pleased to announce that a new line of Cage Rage merchandise will be available at Wembley distributed by Evolution fightwear.
