Butterbean vs. Dan Severn

You probably already heard about it and Yes, it's true.

It looks like MMA wasn't enough for Dan "The Beast" Severn. He'll be making his pro-boxing debut

against Eric "Butterbean" Esch (60-3-4, 50 KO's) October 13th just two weeks before he jumps into the

cage in Arizona against Homer Moore.

Esch, known in boxing for being the king of the four rounders, recently got knocked out in the second round

by Mike Bernardo in K-1. His only true credible opponent in boxing was an aged Larry Holmes who

defeated him by unanimous decision in July of 2002.

We have no idea what to think of this bout - farce or legit - Severn better be able to side step and move

because Butterbean is going to come in and throw the haymakers. That's what he's good at and that's the

game they're going to play.  Severn better get on his bicycle and tire out the bean if he wants to leave on

his feet.

We like Severn but just don't see him winning this fight. The Bean by unanimous decision....unnnlesss, the

bean gets fried and Severn learned how to punch...then we'll call Severn by TKO in the fourth.

Others on the card will be Frank Toledo (42-6-1, 17 kO's) and Jesse Sanders.
