LAS VEGAS - One of the fiercest rivalries in boxing history, Erik ’El Terrible’ Morales vs. Marco Antonio

Barrera, will be decided “Once And For All” when the two superstars collide at the MGM Grand Garden

Arena Saturday, Nov. 27. Morales and Barrera split their previous two mega fights with Morales winning the

first and Barrera the second.

 

Tickets priced at $600, $400, $300, $200, $100 and $50, not including applicable service charges and taxes,

go on sale Friday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. and are available at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office. Tickets

also will be sold at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (Tower Records/WOW!, Smith’s Food and Drug

Centers, Robinsons-May stores and Ritmo Latino). Ticket sales are limited to eight (8) per person. To charge

Morales, from Tijuana, is the current World Boxing Council (WBC) and International Boxing Federation (IBF)

super featherweight champion. He has a record of 47-1 with 34 knockouts and is coming off an exciting

victory over International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion Carlos ‘Famoso’ Hernandez July 31 at the

MGM Grand Garden Arena. Morales is 18-1 in world title fights including wins over Barrera, Jesus ‘El

Matador’ Chavez, Paulie Ayala, Wayne McCullough, Junior Jones and Daniel Zaragoza.

 

Barrera, from Mexico City, is the only champion who has a win over Morales. Barrera is 17-3 in world title

fights and has wins over Johnny Tapia, Prince Naseem Hamed, Paulie Ayala, Kevin Kelley, Jesus

Salud and Kennedy McKinney. Barrera is coming off a very solid performance, knocking down and

stopping Ayala in Carson, Calif. June 19.

 

The Morales vs. Barrera Pay-Per-View telecast, beginning at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Nov. 27, has a suggested

retail price of $44.95, will be distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View and will be available to over 49 million
